Self-Guided Bike Tours in Ireland
Explore Ireland at Your Own Pace with Self-Guided Bike Tours
Our self-guided bike tours are designed for people who want the freedom to explore Ireland without the stress of planning everything themselves.
You ride at your own pace through Connemara, the Burren, and the Wild Atlantic Way - our dedicated local team takes care of accommodation, luggage transfers, bikes, and navigation. We have been doing this from Galway for over 15 years.
How It Works
Getting started is easy - just send us an email at tours@greenmarblecycletours.com and we'll guide you through everything. Our local team in Galway will help you choose the right tour, answer every question, and plan the perfect trip around your dates, fitness level, and preferences. Most guests tell us the pre-tour communication alone gives them total confidence before they've even booked.
Once you're booked, we take care of everything behind the scenes:
- Trek bikes fitted to you personally on day one
- Hand-picked B&Bs and small hotels we have worked with for years
- Digital navigation app with your specific routes and local recommendations
- Luggage transfers using our own support vehicles
- On-call support from the same team who planned your tour
Self-Guided vs Guided Bike Tours
Self-guided tours suit travellers who want to explore at their own pace, with routes and logistics arranged in advance. Guided tours suit those who want a local expert on the road with them every day. Both options are available with Green Marble - if you are not sure which suits you, just email us and we will help you decide.
Self-Guided Bike Tours for USA & Canada Travellers
Many of our guests travel from the United States and Canada - Ireland is extremely well connected, with direct flights from many North American cities straight to Shannon and Dublin airports. Delta, American Airlines, United, Air Canada, and many more airlines fly direct.
Shannon Airport is just 25 minutes from Ennis, the start point of our Wild Atlantic Way tour. Our team advises on getting from the airport to the tour start and from the finish back to the airport.
